Enhance multiple monitor support with UltraMon

Windows 2000 supports multiple monitors, enabling you to connect more than one monitor to a

system and expand the desktop onto all of the monitors. Increasing desktop space can be a real

benefit to users who deal with a lot of applications and need to be able to view multiple windows at

one time. For example, a Web developer might keep a development application open on one

monitor and a Web browser open on the other to test site changes.

Although Windows 2000's multiple monitor features are useful, they're limited. If you like the

benefits of multiple monitors but want more features, take a look at UltraMon from Realtime Soft.

UltraMon adds several multiple-monitor features. For example, it adds buttons to each window's

Control menu to enable you to quickly move the application to a different monitor. For those

applications that don't have a Control menu, you can assign a shortcut key that will move the

window to the next (or previous) monitor.

You can also mirror one monitor to another on Windows 2000 and Windows XP systems. Finally,

UltraMon's display profiles make it easy to support different monitor configurations for different

users.

The ability to better control how Windows uses multiple monitors makes all the difference in how

useful those monitors are. In particular, your ability to control which monitors display a specific

application by default is extremely useful
