Running a program as a different user
In Windows 2000, you can run an application as a different user
without having to log out and log back on to the computer. To do
so, begin by opening the Start menu and navigating through the
menu until you see the program you want to run. Don't click on it
at this point. Instead, hold down the [Shift] key and right-click
on the program's shortcut.
From the pop-up menu, choose Run As.
Enter the username and password you want to use to run the
application and then click OK. You'll now be running this
application as if you were logged on as the user you specified.
All other applications currently running on the computer continue
to run in the context of the currently logged on user.
