| The Quick Start toolbar on the taskbar gives you a speedy way to launch applications. When you |
| minimize those applications, they usually minimize to the taskbar. If you run several applications |
| at once, the taskbar can fill up in a hurry. Wouldn't it be nice if you could minimize some of the |
| applications to the tray in order to take up less space? |
| A search of your favorite download site will turn up several add-ons that let you quickly launch |
| applications from the tray. You just specify which applications to include, click on an icon on the |
| tray, and then select the application from the resulting menu. These tools are a nice replacement |
| for, or a complement to, the Quick Start toolbar. |
| There are also a handful of third-party tools that let you minimize any application to the tray |
| rather than the taskbar, including DNTSoft's AllToTray. If you're looking for something a little |
