| wallpaper (or a black screen, if you prefer). |
| You probably already know that you can auto-hide the taskbar. Just right-click the taskbar, choose |
| Properties, and select the Auto Hide option. The taskbar then hides below the bottom of the display, |
| reappearing if you move the pointer to the bottom of the display. |
| If you turn off Always On Top for the taskbar, the taskbar won't reappear if an application or |
| Explorer window is maximized. That's not a major inconvenience, but it does mean that you have to |
| restore or minimize the window to access the taskbar. If you prefer not to have to do that, just open |
| the Properties for the taskbar and turn on Always On Top. |
